STATE OF OHIO - NEW HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
House Bill 487 updated Ohio’s graduation requirements to ensure that all students are ready for success in college and work. Students who entered ninth grade for the first time before the 2014-2015 school year and those who repeated ninth grade in 2014-2015 school year follow graduation requirements for the classes of 2014-2017.

Here in Ohio, the graduation test that has been in effect since the 2003 Academic Standards were implemented, the OGT, will remain in effect with the class of 2017.
